Antique Swedish Herbarium - Anemone, circa 1910

$295.00

Found pressed between the pages of a European leather-bound ledger dated 1910, this antique pressed flower has waited quietly for over a century.

The Anemone, a bloom tied to myth and memory, was once thought to spring from the tears of Aphrodite. This one, however, likely grew along the edge of a garden path, or perhaps in a meadow just outside a stone-walled village.

Her petals, soft as parchment now still carry a breath of wildness, the kind that slips through lace curtains and lingers in half-remembered dreams. Light wisps of gold and ivory speak of late spring, of someone pausing just long enough to notice her.

She was kept. And now she’s yours.

Unframed. An antique pressed flower preserved in all her quiet glory.
